Custom
Containers & Traditional Native Style Urns
I make a variety of custom
containers which have many uses as keepsake containers, private storage containers,
or for use as Urns (for both pets and loved ones). If you are interested in a custom
sculptural art piece as an Urn, please contact me. You will need to provide me with the
details I need to produce your custom piece. Urn designs depict traditional designs
elements and have traditional spiritual elements.
The pet urn to the left is a basic
asymmetrical design with the symbol for cat on the side. The lid is held down at an angle
(to keep the kitty from escaping) with a pair of hardwood chopsticks.
If you want an Urn, please note that
I incorporate traditional elements and have family members contribute pieces that
will be incorporated in the Urn.
Price: Prices vary
depending on the complexity of the container or Urn, the size, and materials used. Urns
can be as small as 12 inches high to as large as 6 feet tall and can cost from as little
as $80.00 to as high as $10,000.00 depending on the complexity and style of sculpture
desired. Limited Edition Bronze Urns will soon be available. |

Note: This is the ONLY
stoneware piece I to do. |
Stoneware
Beer Butt Chicken
Roasters
Beer Butt Chicken is one of my FAVORITE
dishes, especially when it is done on the grill; it is awesome and hard to beat. I
developed my own style of Beer Butt Chicken Roaster with someone special in mind;
it makes it easier for those preparing this savory dish. Unfortunately, it is
difficult to stand a chicken on a beer can to roast. And, I don't like the idea of
heating and aluminum can inside a chicken I'm going to eat. It's also difficult to pull
the chicken off the beer can once it is done roasting. This Stoneware Chicken roaster is
designed to hold your favorite beer inside the chicken making it moist and tender; even on
the grill. It also works great with your vegetables around the bottom of the chicken. Wall
hangers are available to display and store your dish when not in use.
I like to call the Beer Butt Chicken roaster you see
on the left my "Zia Chicken Roaster". I incorporate traditional
symbols on all my work which sometimes allows me to have a little fun.
Price: $49.00 - $100.00 (depending on
embellishments). First come first serve basis and is dependent on whether I
have any in stock. |
